How to Make a Mint Shamrock Waffle - St. Patrick's Day Special
Ingredients
- 1 cup of Golden Malted Original Waffle and Pancake Mix
- 1 egg
- 5 oz. water
- 2 tsps melted butter
- 1 teaspoon mint extract
- Green food coloring
- Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
- Chocolate Sauce
Preparation
- Beat egg, water and 1 teaspoon mint extract together
- Add Golden Malted Original Waffle and Pancake Mix and mix well
- Stir in melted butter
- Stir in drops of green food coloring (we recommend 5-8 drops, or add desired amount)
- Ladle onto hot waffle iron and remove when the outside becomes crispy. We recommend using the Golden Malted Belgian Waffle Maker - makes perfect waffles every time
- Top with Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce and enjoy!
